Got in the Falcon and I am pumped. 

Cut the first pieces out and have placed them on the model.  This is going to be a super fun build and if you have ever wanted one of these…Well go get one!!!

Last night I had a few minutes to work on my Sovereign Replicas Y-Wing.  I decided to put on the nacelle wing mounts as well as add the little panel that goes on the very back end of the ship.  This took maybe 3 minutes total of my life.

However, I did NOT pay attention to what the hell I was doing and I put the damn panel upside down.  This is not the end of the world but when you use CA to attach something….it ain’t coming off once it is dried so I have to live with my own stupidity.  Luckily this is a gift for my step son and he wont mind I am sure.

Moral of the story don’t be in a hurry to do something.  Always check and then recheck part placement before making it permanent.  So endeth the lesson!

We got quite a bit of ice dumped on us, Tuesday night through early Wednesday morning.  Pretty much shut everything down.  Was 19 degrees overnight so it stuck to everything.

Good news is the sun came out yesterday and melted everything.  Crazy Texas weather LOL

We are bracing here for an ice storm in Big D.  It is raining and the termperature is 32 and is going to drop to 24 by tonight uggghhhh.  No model updates when it is this cold

I am currently re-designing my site and am really just re-freshing the look.  I am currently working on the Sov Replicas 1/72 scale Republic Y-Wing from the Clone Wars series.  Here is some progress:
