My kids BOTH my kids got sick last week with the flu.  One of them wound up in the hospital, severely dehydrated.   So, nevertheless, I did not get any work done this weekend.

My son got sent home from school today with a fever, so while he watched Spongebob I worked on the Falcon.  The top is done and as you can see that is a TON of parts to put on.  The bottom is underway and should not take a fraction of the time that the top [...]

So with the Fine Molds Falcon, there are many ways you can modify the model to be more studio accurate.  One of the easiest ways to do this is by cutting or filing out the notches on the fuselage.  This mod really makes the model pop and is well worth your time to do it.

There is not much going on this week.  Been busy at work but hope to get some time in this weekend.

Worked on the Falcon on Friday and Saturday a little.  Made some good progress.  There is so many pieces to this model.  It is awesome.

Got more parts added.  Doesn’t look like much but damn these parts are so small.  It is time consuming but very satisfying to build.  I love how this model was engineered and allows you to build it similar to the way the real model was built.  It really adds to the experience.

Got in the Falcon and I am pumped. 

Cut the first pieces out and have placed them on the model.  This is going to be a super fun build and if you have ever wanted one of these…Well go get one!!!
